AVELION (formerly PMB) designs, develops and manufactures iMiGiNE, an automated radioactive tracer production system.

iMiGINE is a combination of the ISOTRACE superconducting cyclotron and the iMiLab innovative radiochemistry room, all of this assisted by a strict quality control system. Fully automated and robotized, iMiGiNE enables production by dose of a wide variety of injectable radiopharmaceuticals. A limited number of staff is needed for operation and its footprint is minimal.

This unique product is a game changer: enabling the production of radiopharmaceuticals within imaging and research centres. iMiGiNE breaks away from the traditional centralized radioactive tracer production process, which is complicated and having limited results.

This system provides exciting new possibilities in the fields of molecular imaging and research in nuclear medicine. 

AVELION (formerly PMB) designs and manufactures the iMiLab system, an integral part of the complete iMiGiNE system.

iMiLab is a fully-automated radiochemistry room that produces various radioactive tracers based in particular on radio-isotopes ¹⁸F, ¹¹C and ⁶⁸Ga. iMiLab is ultra-compact, self-shielded and complies with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

iMiLab uses microfluidic techniques to produce various radioactive tracers in automatic synthesis boxes and in sterile cartridges, with precursors and solvents incorporated in the system. This system enables different radioactive tracers to be produced in the same day without risk of cross-contamination.

AVELION (formerly PMB) designs, develops and manufactures the iMiTRACE cyclotron, specifically designed for the in situ production of injectable radiopharmaceuticals for humans in PET (Positron Emission Tomography) imaging centers.

Its main characteristics are its compactness/lightness, its proton acceleration capacity to an energy of 12 MeV, its self-shielding feature, its superconductive magnet and its 4-port targetry.

The unique design of the iMiTRACE cyclotron guarantees great stability and availability in production. It is the result of the technological developments made to the OSCAR cyclotron (Oxford Instruments), with 20 years of proven reliability.

AVELION (formerly PMB) designs, develops and manufactures a line of S band linear particle accelerators (LINAC ORIATRON), with energies of 3, 4, 6 and 7 MeV.

The AVELION teams also carry out maintenance of these machines, guaranteeing quick service and maximum machine availability.

The LINAC ORIATRON has a focal spot reduced to 0.6 mm giving a higher dose rate. It has numerous possible options, helping it to meet the specific requirements of each project. 

THERYQ designs, develops and manufactures the FlashKnife radiotherapy system which delivers an ultra-high dose rate in a fraction of a second, sparing healthy tissue while effectively destroying cancer cells. The efficacy of FLASH has been shown in several preclinical studies, reproducibly, as compared to the damage caused by conventional radiotherapy.

This very short irradiation time eliminates any effect of organ or tumor movement and greatly enhances targeting precision and accuracy.
