ISOTRACE cyclotrons are generating a 80 µA / 12 MeV beam which is used to manufacture isotopes, key elements of tracers for biomolecular imaging.Their specific design makes them easy to install and operate in restricted environment such as hospitals.
The ALSOLEN company develops medium power thermodynamic solar power plants (up to 20 MWe) using the technology of Fresnel mirrors. These power plants called ALSOLEN use oil as heat-transfer fluid. This oil is heated at 300°Celsius and transfers its thermal energy to an Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC), which generates electricity via a turbine.
PMB designs and manufactures linear accelerators for radiotherapy, industrial Xray inspection, medical equipment sterilization or security applications where high energies (1 to 15 MeV) Xray or electron beams are needed.
These compact video cameras are endowed with rugged simplified structures offering a quality of image far above CCIR standards. Designed with an architecture including a single small size board (HEMERA HD, supporting sensor types from 1/6" to 2/3") up to three boards (HEMERA MEGA with 11 MPx sensor), they incorporate on-board software to improve image quality, such as contrast improvement and noise reduction. They are used in all scientific, industrial, safety and military applications when observing details in real time become important.
AER with the technical support of ONERA has developed a new probe measuring a pressure on a winglet profile. Particles, due to their mass and relative speed, are ejected away from the probe and do not have any tendency to enter into the pressure measurement holes. Many solutions have been analyzed and tested in ONERA wind tunnels. Prototypes have been successfully tested on the ground and in-flight. The AER probe offers a strong signal giving accurate and valid information regardless of the flight conditions (high altitude, very severe icing conditions, heavy rain, etc.)
AER has a range of flow-control valves for satellite propellant subassemblies.
These sturdily designed and tested valves are Flight Proven. The present range covers requirements for engines with a thrust of 1 to 500N, in mono-propellant or bi-propellant. They are used in apogee boost motors on geostationary satellites (telecoms), in propulsion for small low-orbit satellites for altitude control and for specific space applications.
CATS – Cryogenic Automated Transfer System – is a robotics system intended for macromolecule crystallography on Synchrotron beamlines. It enables frozen samples to be transferred automatically from a storage Dewar to an analyzing station by means of an original patented method.
